The Lutheran High School Association operates three high schools in the Milwaukee area – Milwaukee Lutheran High School, Martin Luther High School in Greendale, and Lake Country Lutheran High School in Hartland. Journeys Lutheran School began in 1958 as an alternative for children with unique learning challenges. Now located in Hales Corners, Journeys serves over 80 students who range from 8 to 21 years old. A Place of Refuge Ministries is a Crisis Pregnancy Advocacy Service and Shelter serving South Wisconsin and beyond. When mothers call or text our hotline, 414-476-6333, they are assigned a volunteer advocate who works with them throughout their pregnancy and beyond...helping them find area resources and sharing resources collected by our congregations and friends. Refuge House, a shelter where women and children can stay during a woman’s pregnancy and up to 9 mos. afterward, provides even more intensive care. For more information, please see #######
FREE AT LAST MINISTRIES
Free at Last Ministries offers counseling, support, and resources to individuals who are recently released from incarceration to help them return to society, learn about their Savior, and encourages them and their families to receive all the blessings of a relationship with Jesus Christ and other fellow believers in one of our local congregations.
Covenant supports the Food Pantries of our inner-city partners at Bethany Lutheran Church and Mission of Christ Lutheran Church. Food and clothing items are collected on a regular basis and delivered to the churches.
Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML) offers a variety of resources to help women grow in their Christian faith and multiples opportunities to share the faith with others. Covenant members donate Mites for Missions on a monthly basis which benefit our mission partners locally and around the world.
We believe that God loves and cherishes all human life from the pre-born to the elderly. Every year on Mother’s Day we offer red roses to mothers and grandmothers in support of Wisconsin Right to Life.
Every year Covenant members pack shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child providing simple gifts for boys and girls in other countries who might never receive a Christmas present or hear about the true meaning of Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Savior.
